Terms of Service

Effective 3 September 2026 · WonderWatch by Firmin Labs · wonderwatch.firminlabs.com

WonderWatch is a small, parent-run service. These terms are short on purpose. By signing in as a parent, or by letting your child use WonderWatch, you agree to them.

1. What WonderWatch is

WonderWatch lets a parent hand their kids a screen with a curated, rated set of YouTube videos on it, a per-child screen-time clock, and rules that discourage hopping between videos. Videos are played through YouTube's embedded player; WonderWatch does not host, download or copy any video.

2. YouTube's terms apply too

WonderWatch uses YouTube API Services. By using WonderWatch you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Some YouTube features (comments, related videos, search, the scrub bar) are hidden inside WonderWatch. That is WonderWatch's choice, not YouTube's; a parent can always open any video on YouTube itself.

3. Parents and children

4. Ratings and content

Every video is judged against a written rubric (G, PG, PG-13, R, plus an educational-value score) by a combination of automated review and a human owner, and each family sets its own thresholds. Ratings are our honest best judgement, not a guarantee. If something reaches your child that shouldn't have, report it from the parent dashboard or email support@firminlabs.com and it will be hidden for your family straight away. Videos remain the property of their creators and of YouTube; WonderWatch claims no rights over them.

5. Fair use of the service

6. Availability and changes

WonderWatch is provided as is, free of charge, by a parent who also uses it with his own kids. It may change, pause or stop at any time, and YouTube's own availability and ads are outside our control. To the extent the law allows, Firmin Labs is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service.

7. Ending things

You can delete child profiles yourself and ask us to delete your family account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to data.

8. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Questions go to support@firminlabs.com.
